Comments
Skied the blackcomb backcountry from 1650m upto 2150m 30-50cm of surface facets on near surface facets in Basel facets on crust. Sun crust developing on steeper south facing terrain below 1900m. Low angle skiing was best. Deeper snow pack was rounding above 1950m. Some surface stuff seen on steep alpine slopes. Smooth planner slopes skiing amazing. Be carful after the system comes in next weekend. It is going to be touchy. Already difficult skinning in steep terrain with facets on crust.
