Beautiful, sunny day exploring/playing up in the Tutshi area, which was sitting right on the edge of the storm front that was moving in. Extremely variable conditions - from wind scoured south faces to armpit deep blown-in valley bottoms. Favourable conditions were found for some turns on north aspects with surprisingly good stability. Most recent wind slab on the north slopes is present but very consolidated and bonded well to the layer below it. Weather went from from -20 in the morning to -5 in the afternoon. Winds also went from calm to howling by the time we packed up and pulled out. Great day out there.
