Comments
Approached from the south east to the top of Thar peak. Up track was icy, un touched snow had a crust with variable supportiveness. Morning sun didnt soften snow. Skied down west bowl into north facing gully, completely skied out! In Falls lake valley the snow was soft and unaffected by sun. Unsupported snow in the boulder fields failed on surface hoar down approx 30cm.
