Comments
Broke trail into Saddle creek head waters and up into Dix Lacs basin. Day was hot and snow was falling off the trees. So warm the trees we’re dripping from melting snow. Avalanches from the rock faces were heard but not seen. Later n the day cooler temperatures took the moisture out of the snow and turned into powder again. Glide cracks were visible on Dix Lacs mountain.
