Comments
Great riding in mellow open trees today with 30+ cm of floofy dry pow. Alpine slopes were wind affected and hard in spots. A quick pit showed 210 cm total height of snow, with a couple of resistant planar results on compression test hard tap 24 down 65 cm. The weak layer appeared to be small 1mm surface hoar or facets.
