Comments
Excellent ski conditions on east facing aspects on Cassiope on Feb 24. 15-40 cm low density powder with a crust deeper down. Some sluffing in the low-density surface snow on steep unsupported features but no other signs of instability observed. There were light easterly winds all day in the bowl below Cassiope and moderate winds at ridgetop moving a bit of snow around.
