Comments

Approx 20cm of Fist density snow sitting on a well consulted layer of 4 finger density decomposing fragments that is approx another 30 cm. This layer is sitting on a 3cm think ice layer from rain a few weeks ago. Had a CTH26 on the ice layer. Below the ice layer is 32cm of pencil density snow composed of rounded grains. In some places the ice layer is strong enough that it is difficult to cut with a saw. Had amazing skiing on a north facing open run.
