Toured to the peak of Frosty Mtn. E1 via the summer trail. Significant surface hoar had developed in sheltered areas. Entered the NW face via a steep convex roll. Top 200m was solid windboard - no avalanche activity observed. Breakable solar crust present on S and SE aspects. Great powder snow below treeline on all N aspects
