Comments
We rode in the Bijoux Riding area on January 25th. It was Heavily overcast and hard to delineate hazards in the snow. Visibility was good enough to pursue riding in the pine bowl where we targeted meadows, and tree riding. Temperature was around -8 and there was around 25-35 cms of new snow and more in areas that were more sheltered from the wind.
No avalanches or symptoms of snow instability were noted, while riding however the terrain that was chosen to ride was low risk (no large steep slopes, no exposed faces or corniced ridges)
