- 30cm + of new snow, or significant drifting, or rain in the last 48 hours.

4 nights at Tunnel Hut: started with some (5cm) dust on crust, them 30cm heavier snow (warmer) that made for unconsolidated but not too reactive. Stuck to glades for whole duration. About 30 cm or more of cold smoke fell on top of the 'warm' layer from Sat night - made for great days ( still in trees) for Monday, Tuesday and today. Some creep on steeper, more open slopes seen - point releases and crowns ( newer snow ~70 cm) in most open bowls on planetary and other areas. Temps were in -18 - -15 C for last 3 days, helping to firm things up!
