Comments
Ski penetration was 0 and foot/sled penetration was 15 cm. Surface hoar growing on the surface crust all the way up in the alpine. Keep this on the radar for the next dump. Tested the deeper instabilities (mid-dec. surface hoar over facet and over crust) on an east facing slope and did not get significant results. Suspect that hinner areas and solar aspects would have been more reactive.
