• Slab avalanches today or yesterday.
• 30cm + of new snow, or significant drifting, or rain in the last 48 hours.
• Whumpfing or drum-like sounds or shooting cracks.

We remote triggered 2 sz 2's from just below ridgtop on a NE aspect at TL. The fracture line went 150m with the 2 avalanches separated by 50m and a huge crack. Some cornice released and the max crown depth was 200cm and the average was 100cm. The failure occurred on SH sz 4 to 6. Jan 17th

We also dug a profile on a South aspect and got an ECT P dwn 100cm on jan 17th SH on a crust.

We stayed on very low angle slopes.
