Spend the past few days (Dec 20-21) touring out of the Wendy Thompson hut. Weds, Dec 20th was cold and clear, with minimal wind other other than ridgetop gusts. Temp was -11C at the hut at 8am, and only rose slightly throughout the day. The storm snow depths varied between 20-30cm over the Dec 15th crust, and we found several isolated windslabs (fairly shallow) just below ridgetop on southwest slopes below Marriot SE3. Compression test at ~2200m, SW slope, 30 degrees: CTM18RP down 30cm on Dec 15 interface. No natural activity was observed except for some sluffing below rock features in steeper, south facing terrain.
