Comments
Observed two snowboarders trigger large avalanche. Failed on presumed Dec 12 surface hoar. Slope had been skied multiple times earlier in the day, and had been baking in the sun.
Both carried over cliff, one taken all the way to the end zone, but were at the surface. When we communicated with them they were both ok. One with a sore arm.
