Comments
Skiing around the alpine at Elliot Peak, always an eye opener to realize the wind effect in this valley. Wind effected nearly every aspect, NNW faired best and retained good coverage, but presented stiff snow to ski. Wind scoured down to rocks nearly everywhere else. One small crown from a wind slab (0.3mx10m) had pulled out of a W aspect, evidence already eroding away. Did not step down to something deeper despite starting in a shallow rocky zone.
