Not a day to push risk. Breaking deep trail in mellow, low angle trees yielded some shooting cracks and the occasional wumpf. Just wanted to get out for a short afternoon tour. Had a mellow line picked out but the snow was so cold, it was difficult to get speed. Beautiful afternoon anyway.
