Comments
Up to 35cm of storm snow at Surprise Pass today. Upper half was dry powder, lower half was 25cm of settled moist snow. 15 minutes after the sun popped out at 1230 we could hear audible avalanches on south facing alpine slopes off of Mt Whyte. Also witnessed a loose wet in very steep alpine terrain off of Fairview NW aspect that dusted the lake at 130pm
