Steep Creek

Great skiing conditions on North aspects, mostly unconsolidated dry powder in the alpine with little evidence of new windslabs at ridge top. We skied a mix of alpine faces, steep trees, and open bowls with no signs of instability. Saturday and Sunday were mixed sun and snow showers with no wind and sub zero temperatures. Observed a cornice size 2 release from spine wall above darkside lake, it produced a large powder cloud but possibly due to the steep nature of the wall, it did not stepdown to produce a larger slide.
