super crusty on the way up, road was like 15cm of dense snice, a few open creeks but not enough to make it miserable, just annoying.
overgrown roads not ready yet, nor are the slide paths on caspar (our original plan). went deeper to some unnamed peak north of snowspider. at 1700m started getting a decent dust on the crust, and above the 1750m lake to about 2100 where we turned back, north aspects held some nice, dry powder
