Comments
Unplanned meet up in Atlin with the AvCan Yukon field team for some fun exploration around Surprise Lake. 10-15cm cold snow on the surface once above the crust that extended to 1300m. Snow depth 90cm at around 1600m. No avalanches observed. As is typical for Yukon, the most significant exposure for the day is the transit to and from. Considerable moose danger. Sled loading and unloading danger high to extreme.
