Was on snowshoes rather than skis and didn’t observe any instabilities while we were there. Tons of old avalanche debris. The debris we crossed was at least 4 days old. Snowpack was 128 cm at 1950m elevation. Super hard crust at 118cm with 10 cm of dust on top. Surface hoar in open areas below tree line, heavy and crusty in dense trees, icy and windswept at treeline and above.
