Comments
Skied lines between 1700 and 1400 on east and west aspects. Set a skin track up a west ridge with north exposure. Significant scour on northern aspects and loading on southern aspects. Had multiple whumps and shooting cracks on mellow terrain were wind affect existed, including in trees. No sign of natural activity. Snow in trees and sheltered areas on west slopes is phenomenal.
Note, not an avy forecaster but given the signs of instability at and below treelike we treated the day as considerable not moderate.
