Comments
We travelled from the Sunshine parking lot up towards Healy pass and then up the Y drainage to Centre Peak. Rode mellow east facing slopes down to Bourgeau meadows. Found a real mixed bag of snow, some windslab, some old tracks, some powder. Climbed back to the Ridgeline above Healy creek and bushwhacked our way into the low angle lower portion of Healy Pass Avy path #1. Found a mixed bag of suncrust, powder and dust in rocks.
Covered some ground, explored a few aspects and elevations and can safely report the snow is scary and the riding variable at best and shocking at worst.
A nice walk though
