Comments
Pascal NW ridge, 20-40cm boot pen in the trees, wind pressed above 1800m, tree bombs have wrecked havoc on much of the tree skiing. See Snowpack for profile information.
Key Snowpack Findings:
Windpressed top 20cm poorly bonded, clean resistant planar failure, that didn't move (25deg slope angle) but did propagate. Layer cake of moderate to hard compression test, resistant planar failures from 45 to 85cms on decomposing fragments with no propagation. No crusts, no preserved buried surface hoar seen at this treeline location.
