Comments

Below 2000m is still shallow and no base to speak of... lots of shrubs, alders, willows still poking out. At 2000 and above just got better and better, a slightly supportive base and over 20cm of fresh storm snow. This said I would not venture out into any big open slopes just yet. Some unsettling whumphing occured at the ridge at treeline and headed done from there and lapped between 2300 and 2000. The ski out the creek was exciting ducking and going over some logs and dodging some bigger rocks/ boulders. I am not sure whether to recommend it yet. Top was amazing (faceshots) but lower down was a bit survival skiing. Have fun out there and make good choices.
