Comments
Lots of groups out today in the N Black Prince area and back bowls. Deep and tedious trail breaking from valley bottom improving slightly above 1900m. Wx -15 at trailhead 10am with very light snow, some sunny breaks and light winds. Slight temperature inversion with -8 at 2100m at 1:30pm with more sustained sun. Evidence of warming snow on south facing aspects with cinnamon rolls and some wet stuffs from rocky areas. Several loose dry stuffs to Sz 1 running far in steeper terrain on sheltered aspects. Definitely good skiing to be had if you can avoid the old tracks.
