Comments
Wind slab on top of facets. First 2/3s of the trail was icy, didn’t bring ski crampons and regretted it. Once we got to upper tree line and above treeline snow quality improved however there was some shooting cracks near the top of the ridge.
Snow overall was pretty okay.
Roughly measured a meter of snow lower alpine and it thinned out to roughly 20-30cm at most near ridge. Coverage treeline and below treeline was relatively minimal.
