Observed this morning from WAD Valley. Crown appeared significant, conservatively estimated as shown above. Reviewing the terrain in Google Earth, this terrain feature appears to be an old rockslide with lots of surface topography. Some rocks were apparent in the bed surface, but it did not scrape completely to ground. Tentatively suspect that this ran on an early season crust buried near the base of the snowpack. We had limited visibility of the lower runout (below the prominent bench) but do not suspect that the slide made it into that lower runout.
