Comments
Skied the old Chedoke Ski Hill. Ontario resident trapped in Ontario, unable to get to AB or BC to ski this winter due to COVID-19. Storm started early Friday morning and has been consistently dumping snow since then. Decided to try skiing the abandoned ski hill.Snow depth was excellent, often knee deep (45 cm on the probe) on the slope itself, slightly less at the transition zone at the top (pictured). Snowpack was very stable, anchored by light scrub. Ski penetration was excellent with no base strikes.
