Comments
Took a group up to Sky Pilot Valley as far as the pink slab. Drizzly with a bit of snowfall, temp +1. Rock was slick and wet with consequential exposure so turned back. Snow line is from the upper forest so ~1400ft. Snow is consolidated so great walking. Snow extends all the way to the Pilot Copilot saddle so a pretty steep top out. No active avvy activity nor any cornices but check out the tree debris from an old ripper! Must be a 30yr slide. Debris is at the Stauchwall.
