Comments

easily sled triggered small slab avalanche on the cut bank above the road on fri 9th dec. photo taken 28hours later on sat 10th. slab was 40-50 deep. couldn't trigger the same layer with skis alone on the friday but was experiencing heavy whumpfing and settlements on all convexities.

by Saturday the snowpack seemed to be adjusting well to the new load. couldn't trigger any avalanches with skis or snow machines. warm overnight temps should be promoting rounding.

Sunday morning; -4 at valley bottom, approx 10cm overnight, snow stopped falling around 3am. sky is broken, winds are light, sun trending from east to west.
