Skied Thar Sunday afternoon & Monday. Compression test on Sunday aft @1650 ENE: CTH 26 (RP) down 45 (recent storm interface). Also worth noting CTH 30+ (SP) down 95 on rounding facets.
By monday morning, strong NE outflow winds had begun scouring almost all but sheltered S-SW aspects. Significant wind transport onto S-SW aspects; lee of ridgecrests was very evident. Windslabs on cross loaded terrain were growing rapidly throughout the day and likely reactive to a skiers weight on steeper slopes. Sunny SSW open trees off Thar skied well with temps around -16C.
