Comments
Played tourist in the Paddy's Peak area. Strong winds at ridgetop but not much snow to blow. Valley bottom to treeline had a new melt-freeze crust from yesterday's warm temps (1-3cm thick) but north-facing slopes above treeline still had some nice snow. We managed to trigger some new wind slab (sz 1, < 5cm thick) in one steep-sided gully but otherwise no signs of instability.
