Comments
Sun was out all day so we picked our way down keeping to northern and eastern facing slopes which were in the shade. Skiing quality was variable from powder in shady areas to crust and wet snow in other areas. There were signs on wind affect during the skin up, from approx 1500 to 1600m, the snow sounded hollow and drum like, I would not have wanted to ski back down that way.
