Comments
Skied a pleasant loop up Joffre shoulder, down to Keith's Hut, up Anniversary Glacier, and down Matier Glacier. Sheltered treeline terrain held nice powder and alpine was more variable with wind-affected snow yet still good skiing. No signs of instability. Below treeline is still hurting but ski out of Joffre Lakes was decent.
Coverage was good on Anniversary Glacier and Matier Glacier had abundant crevasses south of Aussie Couloir with some huge chasms. Probed 280cm on upper Matier Glacier. Be aware riding through this terrain, especially in flat lighting as these features continue to fill-in.
