Found boot top powder above 1450 m on glacier S of Taiya peak Easter Sunday. Weather generally improved Friday thru Sunday then another system incoming. Strong winds on Friday with gusts 50km at road level eased to 20km on Saturday and calm on Sunday morn. Flurries at valley bottom and 20cm plus new at high elevations. Signs of windloading on N aspects up high, but no new avalanches observed in past 48 hrs. HS 180 at 1450m. At 1600 on S aspect in col at tabletop glacier, HS 260. 20cm new snow sitting on old wind packed snow with melt freeze crust down 40cm and another thick (10cm pencil) crust down 70cm. CTE down 18 (RP) and CTM down 40 (clean). Temp at noon -3 up high, above zero below 1200m
