Comments
Slopes above the tree line had dense, wind affected snow with a 2-3 cm styrofoam like crust developing in some areas. Snow coverage was about 30-40 cm which made hidden rocks a hazard. Below the tree line made for some good glade skiing with light powder. No avalanche activity was observed in the area. It was a great day to practice avalanche rescue skills and get a few good turns in the trees.
