Comments
Motored up to Seaton today. Conditions were fairly epic with 20cm of blower in your face powder. We saw a few size 1 loose dry avalanches on steep alpine slopes. We also saw one glide slab avalanche on a SE aspect at 1600m which looked a couple of days old.
We dug on several alpine slopes, NE and SW aspects. Our Compression Tests (CT) and Extended Column Tests (ECT) produced only hard results on a wind slab layer down approximately 50cm with no propagation. We didn’t see any wind transport today and it snowed lightly all day.
