Only 10 -20 new in the last few days. The new snow has stiffened up into soft and hard wind slabs on the alpine ridges. Some shooting cracks and whumphing in isolated cross loaded ridges in the sparse trees. We stuck to lower angle and did not venture higher into the wind affected alpine. Observed remnants of one larger 2.5 to 3 natural of the nw face of South hector
