A number of groups enjoying Top Hat today. Temps as forecasted, -6C at the car to start the day. Winds were low, with light flurries through the morning in the alpine.
Noted two small loose-dry’s come off steep terrain on Carnarvon when approaching Top Hat Col. 20-40cm of unconsolidated storm snow made for great skiing if when you could snag pockets of visibility. In steeper terrain you can certainly get sluff running.
