50 cm of blower pow in sheltered areas, exposed slopes wind loaded. Windslab widespread at upper TL and Alp, 10-20 cm below HST. Very hollow and spooky with large whumps felt on N and NW TL aspects 1750m up to 32 degrees incline in simple terrain. CT results scary. Checked out a skin track from yesterday that ventured up to sub alpine towards Vantage and got a remote whump on approach. [Heuristic trap of course) Bailed. Then got a massive whump on previous skin track (flat terrain) in same area that we had already used 3 times. Time to go home! Kept it simple and avoided avalanche terrain. Obs various groups skiing steep TL lines off Vantage Ridge with no signs of avalanches. Spacial variability…
