Comments
Skied around Keith's hut Jan 26-27. West wind blowing hard in the alpine. Matier looked very wind blasted. Upper aniversry glacier a little punchy but eased into nice powder lower down. Northish facing protected couloirs holding really nice consolidated powder. Did not notice any avalanches while we were there. Old crowns on north faces from last storm cycle. The bowl below the north face of joffre had some really nice snow.
