Comments

There is now a decent boot-packed trail from the back of Emerald Lake to Cold Comfort/Cold Choice, we climbed the right of the two.

No evidence of wind deposited pockets, no whumps, drum-like sounds or shooting cracks on the approach.

Took care of travel through alpine terrain, especially convexities.

When we pulled the rope from the bowl at the top of p1, a small amount of sloughing snow came down, enough to bury the rope.

The day was calm, cloudy and lightly snowing, accumulating approx 2-4cm of new snow by the time we descended.
