Comments
Second hand report from the Spearhead traverse describing temperatures reaching +0.5 C at 2300 m on Monday afternoon. The warming caused many small wet loose avalanches on steep rocky south facing slopes (some up to size 2), but no new slab avalanches were observed. The surface was heavily wind affected.
