Snow conditions were:

• Deep powder

We rode:

• Cut blocks
• Mellow slopes

We stayed away from:

• Alpine slopes
• Convex slopes
• Steep slopes
• Sunny slopes

We felt a bit of Wind Effect in open areas but overall the 20-30cms of storm snow was light and fluffy in the sheltered cut block we were in. Limited observations of heli bombing on London Ridge but saw one SZ 2 storm slab on a SE treeline feature. We also notice a bit of roller balling on steep solar aspects across valley.

Snow Pit: 1100m NE Aspect

We did not find any surface hoar where we dug but there were two prominent crusts (down 20cms and 80cms) We had a moderate result on the lower Dec.8 crust.
