Comments
Skied N-E slopes ALP/TL (2300-2000m) up to 35 degrees. Ski conditions were variable in the ALP with the best skiing in sheltered TL terrain. Several whumphs were observed in shallow, wind-exposed terrain where a K-hard windslab sat overtop the weak basal instability. No other signs of instability observed. Supportive snowpack above 1600m.
Field obs: M, var. winds G to S with just a trace of HST obs. T high: -6.5C, T low: -10C. HS 200cm at 2130m.
