Turned around at the base of the Christmas Couloir fan after a column test. CTE 10 RP down 40cm & CTM 11 SP down 90cm on what we assumed was the Nov 17th sun crust above facets. 170cm of total snow. 40cm-90cm down was 4F but cohesive. Above that was still light. A 2cm sun crust became noticeable on the surface when the slope became steeper at the base of the fan.
