All the beautiful snow is going bye bye

Snow conditions were:

• Heavy
• Powder

We rode:

• Open trees
• Sunny slopes

We stayed away from:

• Alpine slopes

The day was:

• Warm
• Windy

Avalanche conditions

• Rapid temperature rise to near or above 0°C or wet surface snow.

Went for a tour to check a new potential zone, snow is similar to everywhere else that’s been reported recently. Wind is coming in strong from the sw, and everything that’s solar aspect or exposed to wind is warming fast. Air temp at 1270 m was +4°. Lots of wind transport at ridgetop visible.
