Comments
Observed sluffing of recent storm snow in steep terrain.
The sheltered east aspect had the best quality turns and deeper snow. South and exposed areas had thinner deposits of snow with a more Jan 30 crust beneath which made for worse turns. In some isolated areas a wind crust has started to form a bit of a wind skin.
