Comments

New avalanche today, triggered by natural cornice fall at upper treeline. Triggered a relatively deep slab in the steep rocky slope below the cornice. Stepped down deeply 3 times (twice to ground at Below Treeline elevations, where the snowpack is moist), demonstrating that the deep persistent slab problem is still present in certain areas, awaiting triggers.
